To an extent I can agree with this, but I also disagree with some of it.

On the one hand picking off the leadership is fine, however, there will be more. We also need to take out bases and trainers. Most of all we need to start after the money men financing it all. By that I mean some bankers and traders need to be found with some .22 bullet holes in their heads. Dry up the money supply and that is what will really make these terrorists less of the threat.

The domestic angle is also something that concerns me. Given how wildly and ineffectively the government has overreacted to 9/11 and the shoe and underwear bomber, if there is a mass shooting or two by Muslims with gun acquired in America, I suspect the government will lunge at the chance to ban gun ownership completely. We already know that the leftists in this country's government are hostile to gun ownership and the mayor's council recently came out against gun ownership, again. So, this really isn't outside the realm of something they might try. I can also see more security everywhere with searches to even go to the grocery or video store. Maybe everyone will have to wear one of those GPS monitors all the time so they'll know where you are at all times, for your safety and to track those few dozen bad guys in a nation of 300 million.

Agreed. Plus, when you pick off a leader, that leader becomes a martyr. Capone

was brought down when he was brought up on charges of tax evasion. In this case,

the aim would be to get rid of the funders.
