Guest guest
; Your duaghter's story exposes tragedy and injustice yet she is blessed to have a caring family! ! rl 'My cat Rusty is a servant of the Living God....' adapted from a poem by Smart Subject: Re: Autistic boy claims sexual assaultTo: FAMSecretSociety Received: Monday, February 21, 2011, 12:53 AM This story brings back a lot of memories for us. My daughter came home fromplaying with some of her friends in tears. When I asked her what was wrong shetold me that this boy kept trying to kiss her. I talked to her more and told herif she felt uncomfortable with it I would talk to his parents and that she couldtalk more about it with her psychologist. She was 11 at the time. She went in totalk to her doctor and after a few minutes he had me come into the room. Thatwas when I learned more happened then what she said. I took my daughter to herdoctor, he stayed late just for her and the nurse and doctor examined her. Icould hear her screaming during this. They said they didn't see any signs ofrape but they needed to call the police. I wanted them to call the police. Sheis autistic ( at a time when autism wasn't very well known) because she didn'tact like a normal child acted if they were raped the Hillsboro police departmentfirst dismissed the case. They didn't even bother filing the report. They boywho did this was 14. I kept calling the police and finally after getting nowheretalked to the chief. He took it serious. He sent her over to CARES unit where wefound out a lot more happened then we first thought. They used dolls to actthings out. Because language wasn't her strong suit she had trouble putting intowords what happened, especially since she didn't understand any of if. All sheknew was she felt uncomfortable, didn't like it and didn't understand why hetried to hurt her. We found out that there was penetration with his fingersvaginally and anally. We also found out that he kept trying to have Marcy touchhim. The police decided to do something after this however the boy moved and thepolice couldn't find him. We were lucky that some of Marcy's friends knew wherehe was going to school so we told the police. Turned out that he was 14 and wasmentally challeged. However this kid was a mile away from his house by himself,he found our house on his own when he asked for Marcy to go roller skating withhim, and after he raped her he went to our neighbor to give Marcy a message, which was if anyone asked it was his twin brother who did it. Not what you wouldexpect from a kid with a supposedly 40 IQ. The trial was a joke. They wouldn'tpress charges and send him to jail. Instead all they did was to say that heshouldn't be unsupervised with children under 10. Instead of the DA handling ourcase, his caseworker did. They were sitting around laughter and joking and nevercame over to see how my kids were. (My 8 year old son witnessed his sisters rapeand was terrified and didn't know what to do) Then this boy, told hislawyer that because he was going through all this his parents were going to takehim to Disneyland for a vacation. My kids in the meantime were having nightmaresabout this and he got to go to Disneyland. We always felt (Marcy as well and sheis 28 now)that because of her autism they just overlooked the case andconsidered her not important enough to do something about it. This still affectsher and we don't know if she has PTSD from it or not. Besides being autistic nowshe is schizoeffective bipolar type. Her doctors think she might be PTSD becauseshe still has dreams about being attacked and raped. To finish this story years later and his family went into a car dealershipwhere Marcy's friend worked. They were going to buy him a car for his 21stbirthday. It is as we always thought that somehow they tricked the court intobelieving his IQ was only 40 and they got away with everything.>> http://www.kxan.com/dpp/news/crime/autistic-boy-claims-sexual-assault> > Autistic boy claims sexual assault> > Boy told mom four classmates touched, bullied him> > Updated: Saturday, 19 Feb 2011, 11:28 PM CST> Published : Saturday, 19 Feb 2011, 9:40 PM CST> > Ingles > > CEDAR PARK, Texas (KXAN) - Stay at home mom Loe told KXAN her 10-year-old autistic son was bullied for years and was even sexually assaulted by some of his classmates at C.C.
