i am on at least 10 other list groups. maybe just me, but, i like hearing

what other parents are doing to help their children. imo, the parents are the

real experts! countless of hours researching and reading etc. a true

passon for trying to find what best helps their child.

anyway, being on that many list groups, i can tell you that there ARE

children being helped using other protocols/methods other than nids. nids is

great

for some and can possibly help a lot others. IF they know about it.

some of the list groups im on have literally thousands of parents. lots of

info is freely exchanged. no one protocol is put on a pedistal as being the

only one that helps our children. even on the HBOT list group, there are

some success stories. lots of them especially on the chelating list. you

cannot discount other parent success stories. what sounds like " voodoo " to one

parent has helped another child toward recovery.

i personally have mentioned nids on other lists cause i believe it may help

some children esp if their parents have used a more DAN approach with out much

success. there may be many reasons why someone uses a particular protocol

with out much " success " . also, depends on how you measure " success " .

my son has come a long way with bio med treatments over the past 6 yrs. he

isnt one of those " quick responders " to anything in particular.

it might be a good idea for some of you parents who have children on the

nids protocol and doing good if not recovered to be on a few other list groups

to tell your story and spread the news. on the chelating kids 2 list alone,

there are over 3,000 members. the mb12 valtrex group is another large one. a

lot of the parents are extremely knowledgable with medical backgrounds.

anyway, since there are many parents who state nids have greatly helped

their child, one parent can get on a particular list and spread the word. so,

not one parent has to get on all the list groups and get overwhelmed.

anyway, just a suggestion. if you truly want to get the word out on nids to

other parents to me this is a great and quick way.
