When you used the storebought juice, what did you use? Organice? or just plain bottled juice? Frozen? How did you do it?

I followed the juice cleanse almost to a perfect T. I went with (dark) Grape Juice that is just juice, not from concentrate or frozen or canned. Bottled. As m uch as I would love to be able to buy all organic, I don't have the funds for that right now, so I just got the bottled. I think it is better to go with what I can get than keep up on the horrible eating habits I have been doing. The store bought (non-organic) HAS to better than the fast foods! I also bought some dark and green grapes as I knew I wouldn't be able to go 3 days without something to munch on. If I don't "chew" I don't eat, at least according to my body. I was hospitalized at 6 mo due to malnutrition, so I am sure that is all mental, not physical. But, still, I ate the grapes for dinner each night. I also took a picture of me for a "before" and wrote a journal of all of my feelings and occurences. I also planned it so that I did NOT leave the house as I knew I would be spending a LOT of time on the potty. My system doesn't do well with a lot of fiber. Make sure you have enough potty paper in the house and near the potty! I saw a remarkable difference, although the second day I had a usuall (not for much longer!) FMS day and hurt really badly. I did get a headache the end of the first day and continued until I ate, but, then again, that could be all mental too. It also could be poison's coming out, which I could handle if that were the case. I could see color better (black, navy blue, etc.) after the cleanse. I do think it HELPS a LOT and well worth the time at home! I will be doing another one probably starting the 22nd. Any more ?'s just ask me. I am happy to help in any way I can. Do you know where to find the "recipe" for the juice cleanse?

Of course, being home 3 days straight the doggies just about drove me crazy! They are not used to that! Just kidding. They really are good dogs!

One of my dogs would be happy to do the cleanse with me! Just don't give grapes to dogs, they are poison to them!

Hi Deborah,

I'd like to do the juice cleanse also. When you used the storebought juice, what did you use? Organice? or just plain bottled juice? Frozen? How did you do it?

Also, I don't have a juicer...can it be done without one, say with elbow-grease instead? ;)

I don't have a juicer either. I just did the juice cleanse with store bought juice. I still am "seeing" results from the cleanse. Bad part? Since I did that, if I do eat something not good for me, example being a chicken finger (deep fried) it reacts with me. I think these "little" cleanses do way more than we even are aware of. I also have the stomach problems, granted in the past year they have gotten better, but they are way better since the cleanse. I am anxious to do another one. After I get home from my mini!

Never use frozen concentrates. Always use fresh organic (best) or store

bought in bottles (second best).
