Hi

For me too, they are synonyms. Moreover, the GDT indicates that urostomie is

" la contraction probable de urétérostomie " .

In the nomenclaures of devices, they seem to use both terms, indifféremment.

Pendant que j'y pense, Andy a essayé de vous contacter plusieurs fois, mais

les messages " bounced " with " unknown address " . Entre-temps qq'un de France a

répondu et pris le travail. Dommage. A+

As I understand it, a ureterostomy is one type of urostomy. Does anyone

know if the same distinction applies to French? My references indicate that

urostomy = uréterostomie.
