Guest guest
If we'd done things right we'd have killed Bin Laden and most of his top men at Tora Bora, but I won't rehash that yet again. Suffice it to say that a few casualties then would have meant we could have withdrawn long ago. The next time a terror attack was hatched from that country, we have stealth bombers that would fly over and knock out power plants, water plants, etc. and leave them the 7th century lifestyle they want, while instead of going on in the ground again, we make the moneymen and bankers start having accidents. No, India isn't perfect. During the Cold War they tried to keep their distance from the US and Russia, though they did a little more business with the Russians than us and still are. They've got terrorist problems and also Maoist rebels in the eastern part of the country. Most people are still incredibly poor and I've read that having an annual income of $2,500 is enough to afford servants. Still, they are a check against Pakistan and while they might not be completely reliable, they also aren't supporting global terrorists. In a message dated 5/10/2011 11:58:34 A.M. They've had independence for many years but have done little to improve themselves. They would become problematical if the money stopped flowing.Administrator
