Guest guest
I'm pretty sure there is a conspiracy behind it. I mentioned on here not long ago about the US State Department hosting a meeting of "dissidents" who were plotting to overthrow many nations. They were given pointers and advice then went home to prepare. A couple of months ago I read quote from a senior member of Planned Parenthood who said in the 1960's that it was already planned to dedevelope the US. The idea was to move out heavy industry and make the US a center of global agriculture, research and entertainment. China would become one of the new centers of heavy industry and production of things. In other words, kind of what has been happening over the last 20 years in particular. What I don't get is that history shows there are ALWAYS conspiratorial groups trying to take power whether that be locally, nationally or the known world. Why do they think it is any different now? Is it the scale of the venture? They would believe a couple of movers trying to take control of a town council or school board but not the whole world? As for the income issue: I read an article today where Moon at the UN wants to ensure a minimum income, health care, food, etc. to everyone on earth. This would be paid for by a "sacrifice" of 2% of the GDP of the developed nations. Can't find the article now though, that one in particular is gone. Of course there is the Global Poverty Act proposed by Obama when he was Senator. This one makes the US give over $800 billion to global antipoverty programs through the UN. So that is coming true as well: foreign taxes on the US and developed nations to give handouts to the poorer nations. Its really an effort not to build those nations up but to tear the US et al down. IF there is a conspiracy afoot, then I doubt there would be a recovery from the outcome because the outcome will be something constantly changing and unpredictable, rather than just a series of coups. Guest guest
As of noon, oil has been up as much as 9%. The price jump was quite steep if you look at the charts. I think it is going to be much easier to control people now than in the past. Most people live in cities now, especially in developed nations. Because of this, they are dependent on others for everything. They can't grow their own food or collect water or dispose of waste, etc. Governments could easily control the people by setting up rationing, etc. Take away cash and make everything electronic and there you go. I suppose people could still revolt but it would be much harder to do and much harder to convince others to come along. In a message dated 2/21/2011 11:07:37 P.M. But more to the point, whomever comes after will never be trusted either because the citizenry won't trust even an entirely new military. I doubt that the conspirators envisioned this scenario when they conspired to oust Ghadaffi. Ghadaffi is crazy and cruel, but he's actually "smart" in that he makes it very hard for successors from anywhere to be trusted.
