Guest guest Posted May 5, 2011 Report Share Posted May 5, 2011 The only picture I've seen of that helicopter is of the tail rotor. It does look like some kind of shield was placed over the hub. That hub probably did reflect a lot of radar energy. The shield probably took care of a lot of that. I'd like to see the main rotor and hub along with the fuselage. The remains of that F-117 shot down in Bosnia was supposed to have helped the Chinese and Russians advance their stealth technology by decades, and it helped them learn how to detect the planes better as well. The Chinese and Russians are also the ones most likely to benefit from the remains of this chopper as well. Not likely any time soon... They destroyed the rest for good reasons.
