Guest guest
Hi Rose -- I'm not an expert here, but I would think that the need to nap a lot is pretty normal at puberty. Especially for boys. Donna > > Hello All~~ > My son's been making steady progress. This year he's made huge progress with comprehension assignments in school, learned to write sentences and actually types 65 wpm. He still struggles with intermittent aggression and if it wasn't for that, life would be nearly perfect. Just wondering if anyone's child seem to sleep more, taking a nap just a couple hours after being up, when they started their way thru puberty. And, that's with NO significant prescription changes. > All the best~~ > Rose >

Guest guest
Rose, I remember reading not long ago that teenagers actually need more sleep than infants (but few get it, esp. with early school start times). Guest guest
Thank you all for your kind words. I had an update with Dr. G yesterday and he DID attribute some of the sleepiness to puberty, but thought we could fine tune the meds some. Don't forget, a lot of our success is due to Dr. G cleaning up Kristian's immune system (especially strep bacteria, etc.), and a great private autism school. Hope you all have a great summer. We're already a couple of weeks into it. All the best~~ Rose SleepingALotAt13 > >Hello All~~ > My son's been making steady progress.
