Guest guest
I don't see any reason you couldn't make it in a crock pot, Deborah. I don't think it would make a difference in the vits/mins, though. Sharyn From: KLSIRDDOGS@... [mailto:KLSIRDDOGS@...] I like to cook soup like this in the crock pot. Would that be more beneficial for Vits/Mins rather than on the stove cooking????? --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com). You lose weight this way./* > > */Deborah/* ============================= Well as I have never tested the temp of a pot of soup cooking in a crock pot I really can't answer this one. However, my guess is that the temp of your soup is going to be over 120 degree F which means that all the minerals are now dead inorganic minerals which your body can no longer use and any vitamins are toast. But, this is just my guess. So I suggest a test. Make some soup and when it is just about done stick a thermometer into it and read what the temp is. Then please let the rest of us know if you would be so kind. Thanks Deborah. Really good question. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
