ita-eng carotide primitiva

Do you happen to know how *primitiva* can be translated into ENG?

I found many entries with *common*, but I'm not that sure...

Thanks!

In this case, " common " is right; the " carotide primitiva " is the

common carotid artery.

In other contexts, " primitivo " sometimes translates as " primary " .
