I just want to thank everyone for once again answering all these

chelation posts. After four years on this list, I think this topic has

taken up most of the time. I agree with everything Donna said, Thanks so

much for posting the science once again. I always need a

reminder too. I came to distrust Dr.'s along time ago also, but in the

case of my son, he just does awfully on natural foods and supplements. I

guess you need a really healthy immune system for these. I don't know

why this has to be such an emotional debate. If you fully believe in

chelation and it has helped your child tremendously then great. As a

patient of Dr G. he has helped my son tremendously (when I judiciously

follow what he tells me) and I fully believe in his protocol and I know

I will never be convinced to try chelation. It IS a shame is not

more in the media. I think part of the reason is because Dr. G has

chosen to spend his time helping as many children as he can (God bless

his soul) instead of promoting his protocol. His research panel is busy

doing research. The best recovery stories are from Marcia Hinds and Pat

Koltun if anyone wants to go back in the archives. I think a lot of us

still active on this list are still in the recovery stage and not fully

there yet. My son is at the stage where if he is healthy, he is fine,

but if his allergies kick up a lot, or he catches a cold, or he gets an

offending food, he is back to autistic behaviors. It took several years

to get here. At first I didn't notice much difference no matter what we

did and it was very hard to hang in but I am thankful I was not swayed

away and we are continually seeing improvement. My younger son was

treated very early, (thanks to his big brother) just for a short period

of time and he is A-OK now. I am just careful with his diet. But he even

tolerates many foods now. So I will always ring praises for Dr. G.

Anyway, mainly I wanted to thank everyone for there continuous efforts

at posting. You guys are the best and a great help to me. Jerri
