As I've said before, this is what happens when government starts throwing money around with little attention paid to where it is going. The thieves come out of the woodwork. 8 years in prison is pretty minor considering the amount stolen and the harm done. Small wonder with the low odds of being caught and mild penalties that white collar crime is on the rise.
