Guest guest
Al Qaeda and the Taliban have used similar ruses before. Not long before 9/11, they assassinated the leader of the Northern Alliance by sending in a suicide crew with a video camera loaded with explosives, posing as journalists seeking an interview. Other times they have used people either working on a base or who were familiar to the soldiers there to bring in bombs. There's really no telling how often these tactics and other assassinations happen in the country that we don't hear about. I know that in Iraq many assassinations are going on being carried out at night by men with silenced pistols. It is believed they are likely Sunnis trying to kill off opposition supporters while the US is still strong enough to control the Shia and other populations.
