Guest guest
I purchased this cup last year and found that if you give capsules they stick to the interior of the water flo tubbing. Maybe I'm doing somthing wrong but it didn't work for me. NF ldbender <ldbender@...> wrote: It comes with a money back guarantee. So maybe I will order one too. Guest guest
Capsules do get a little sticky when wet so that does seem very possible... I wonder if rubbing just a touch of coconut oil on them first would make that not happen??? Will find out as soon as it gets here. Thanks for the heads up! Guest guest
Here's a link to the company website for the pill swallowing cup. I'm really interested in this for a friend of mine's son... they have had to choose meds around the fact that he can't swallow pills. Maybe this would help him. Guest guest
Donna, FYI, I just called our local medical equipment store and they have one in stock there for less than $4! I called pharmacies first (no luck) and then thought of the medical supply company (where you get crutches and nebulizers and all that good stuff). The one they have is not the " Oralflo " one, but the lady I spoke to said she had bought the style at the store for her grandson and she thought it had worked fine. I'm going to go and look at it when I get a chance. Caroline
Guest guest
The Oraflo pill cup. Just google it. It has an angled spout that positions the pill perfectly to slide down the throat with the first sip of water. My son takes a tiny sip with the largest of his capsules. We did have to work our way up from a small pill cut in half to large capsules. Then, I " bribed " him with rootbeer to swallow larger pills. After that, he seemed to understand that if he swallowed them using the pill cup, he wouldn't have to taste supps mixed in with peanut butter or other food. Good luck, Robyn Robyn & Greg Coggins <rngcoggs@...> wrote: <holden5577@...> wrote: Hi Tammy I jsut wanted to ask you what this pill cup was. I am trying to teach my 4 yr old how to swallow pills and he can almost do it with a sippy cup w/ straw, but not there yet.
