You're right. Whatever a mob is given it will soon become accustomed to and then demand more. They get it, get used to it, then will scream for more, more, MORE!! This has been going on for so long it will be hard to break the habit now.

In Greece, people are whining that the mandatory retirement age will be raised higher than 61 years of age, and that people earning minimum wage will be taxed. The country is going to implode with the austerity measures anyway, but that isn't the point.
