That was well down the Aleutian Islands. So now a lot of pressure has been building up from the south of the US and with this and the Japan quake it looks like pressure is being released to the north.

The only area that seems to have been hit with a minimum amount of sizeable

seismic activity these past couple years is the US and Canadian coast.
