I would agree. The mother was obviously very self-destructive and the children, the article says she was the mother of four, should have been taken away from her for their own safety. I'm also sure plenty of NT's have beaten or killed parents for much less than this. Sadly, its another case where people on the spectrum will be tarnished by this action.

I obviously don't endorse murder but did the Judge not consider the fact that perhaps mom's drinking fueled this young man's rage? I don't know too many ask alcoholics that can provide the stable predictable environment needed by many on the autism spectrum.
