Guest guest
Interesting that Obama declined the state's request for federal aid in fighting the fires and now it might hit exposed nuclear waste. Of course, this wouldn't have happened if the greens and others hadn't fought tooth and nail against any kind of safe nuclear storage like Yucca Mountain. Then there is that story about reports being falsified by some of the staff looking at Yucca Mountain as a repository for waste, reports that made it seem unsuitable. I wonder if they will be held to account if the fires do reach the waste or if this will simply be used as an attack on the nuclear industry? Obama isn't a fan of nuclear energy and he's already admitted to wanted to bust the coal industry and has been hostile to oil. In a message dated 6/30/2011 5:26:38 P.M.
