Guest guest
Interesting turn of phrase there. I am one of those who thinks this is all too much to be coincidence. I've posted on here a link to stories about some of these radicals meeting in DC with the help of the US State Department. Not only was advice for their activities given by State, but the individuals talked amongst themselves including ways to stay in touch and coordinate their actions. What I'm thinking is going to happen is something like the Iraq invasion. While the governments may be overthrown, what comes next? If all the existing power players aren't removed, you end up with a situation as in Russia and most Soviet Bloc nations where the old school uses its greater experience and resources to undercut the new school and retake power. Or, as in other cases, the exuberant radicals let in the wolves who will take power right from under their noses. Just as the US didn't plan for what came after Saddam was put out of power, so these people don't seem to be planning properly for what comes next. Then again, there may be a higher level of people who are pulling the strings. People usually don't have a problem believing in local conspiracies to take over a church group, the office or even local government, we even see it happen from time to time. But talk about world domination? That's just movie stuff. What better cover could they have than that disbelief and the dismissiveness those who speak of such things are targeted with? While some have stated that perhaps the events in Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya are related, it seems to easily fit emergent copycat behavior (I prefer the term Stand Alone Complex, but that has critical criteria that has not been met)
