Guest guest
A list of tests to be performed for haemochromatosis includes the abbreviation BSE in the " haematology " column. I'm skeptical that this is " the " BSE, but what else could it be? Web searches are pretty fruitless, given all the references to mad cow disease that turn up! Here's the full list of haematological tests in the original Dutch, for context: Hb HB/Ht erythrocyten MCV/MCH/MCHC trombocyten leucocyten leucocyten differentiatie *BSE* reticulocyten FEP osm. resistentie ery. LAP-score HLA B27 blgr/Rhesus/scr.imas. DAT BSE is the only one I'm concerned about. Any thoughts by late Wednesday (European time) would be most appreciated. Purdy Translation from W. Guest guest
Hi , From the context given, I would expect BSE to expand into " bezinkingssnelheid van erytrocyten " , or ESR. HTH
