Again, incredibly stupid.

The military is overstretched and isn't likely to be welcome. The slightest mistake they make will get the US slammed for it and will probably also be played by the Islamic radicals to inflame the people even more. Perhaps that is the plan.

I'm hoping that what's happening now is just world class incompetence on the part of the US leadership, but the more research I do into the subject, the more it seems like it is indeed being planned and has been planned for some time. The Gulf oil spill (and Halliburton buying up the oil spill clean up companies in Texas), putting drilling off limits and denying court orders to issue new permits for drilling, putting much of the coastal waters off limits for drilling, the federal land grab, now conveniently these uprisings in the Middle East that are spreading around the world, including the US.

Well, I did predict around the 2008 election that it looked like the world was heading for a period of madness and I think it really is coming true. I think people allowed themselves to be deluded into thinking the power mad we beaten with the fall of the Soviet Union, but they weren't.
