Hi ,

I dehydrate my tomatoes and they turn out great.  I don’t use the teflex

sheets – I just put them right on the grid, but I guess you could do it either

way.   I make slices, about ¼” thick.  I don’t even bother peeling them.  I like dehydrating, rather than canning,

because they take up so little room.  I also

make some just for snacking, and sprinkle them (before putting in dehydrator)

with either basil, oregano, garlic powder – or a combination, or use

whatever herb you like.  Great snack!!
