Guest guest
Greetings, I don't know about vege sal (but do know it is a Gaylord Hauser product) but Spike (also a Gaylord Hauser product) contains the following: " Salt and sea salt crystals, special high flavor yeast, hydrolyzed vegetable protein (NO ADDED MSG), mellow toasted onion, onion powder, orange powder, soy flour, celery leaf powder, celery root powder, garlic powder, dill, kelp, Indian curry, horseradish, ripe white pepper, orange and lemon peel, summer savory, mustard flour, sweet green and red bell peppers, parsley flakes, tarragon, rosehips, saffron, mushroom powder, parsley powder, spinach powder, tomato powder, sweet paprika, celery powder, cayenne pepper, plus a delightful bouquet of the best oregano, sweet basil, marjoram, rosemary, and thyme. " I like it on steamed veggies but I think one can put this blend of spices and herbs on just about anything. They may have sea salt in them but again I am not certain of this. I do know that they are vegetable salts or salt substitutes that are quite good. However, again I am not sure of the exact ingredient list so am not promoting their use. Just passing on the recipes. You can use your own blends if you choose. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
