Pharma companies are analyzing the effects on serotonin but do not use technology like a neurospect to see how the blood flow is altered. If you look through the neuroimmunedr.com site, you may find the info in one of his presentations. > > > > I was fascinated after reading that treating for herpes 6...even > > though, there is no sign of active infection is important and that > > after about two months...suddenly the virus appears...wow! Guest guest
Hi Ronda, This is Steph in VA. I take 6 tablets a week of MTX and 3mg of Folic Acid a day. My Folic acid was increased when I had the same side effects you mentioned and it helped greatly! Take care, Steph in VA I called my Rheumy's office today to discuss the side effects I've been having with my MTX. I've been taking 8 tablets a week for the last 4 weeks and am having quite a bit of stomach pain and diarrhea among other things. On the sheet I was given when I started the MTX, it said to call if I had these side effects. Anyway, the nurse told me that doc wants me to decrease my MTX to 6 tabs a weeks and increase my folic acid to 3mg per day. I'm just wondering if anyone else takes that much folic acid and if it helps with the type of MTX problems that I'm having. Anyone? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The 2008 Charlottesville Arthritis Walk is Sat.
