Guest guest
Ronda, Dr. Bruce has an office in upstate NY (Watertown). It is not close to where you are but closer than CA. If you are interested in getting more information, I would suggest contacting Kathy at the clinic. She is a former military nurse and just a good person :-). The number to the clinic is (315) 773 - 5405. _http://www.nidsnnyclinic.org/_ (http://www.nidsnnyclinic.org/) Sharon
Guest guest
Ronda, Are you familiar with Dr. Buie at Harvard? He is the leading pediatric GI doctor for children with Autism. There is a long wait to see him, but he may be able to tell you someone near you who has trained under him. We were very fortunate to have a local GI specialist agree to consult with Dr. Arthur Krigsman (an " equal " to Buie), thus saving us a trip. What a difference to have a GI doctor who actually knows what they are looking for! The type of IBD found in children with autism is completely different from what a typical child with IBD would have. You can find Dr. Buie pretty easily if you search his name and " Ladders Program for Autism. " - --------------------------------- Talk is cheap. Use Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls. Great rates starting at 1 & cent;/min.
