Guest guest
Wow. We're really bashing dentists here now! My husband is a dentist and is not all about the all mighty dollar. He's also not in NY and he does take many different types of insurance. He is about doing quality dentistry that either solves a problem for the patient, or makes the patient look and feel better about themselves. We are not millionares from this either. Just regular folk making a living like everybody else and struggling to pay bills and to afford the services and treatments we need to help our autistic child. As a dentist, my husband can't replace a filling because it's old due to the fact that insurance companies do not pay to replace fillings just because they are old. They pay to replace them when they have fallen out, chipped, etc. Cheryl, Kim - Re: Shots making me tired? Now, there's a plan! It seems here (upstate NY) the dentists who areknown for this and do it correctly also do not take any insurance orthey won't take medicaid.I was thinking since the originals are so old and fillings tend tochip and fall out anyway, why wouldn't someone at least replace a fewjust because they're so old. Again it's all about that almighty dollar!I will shop around and do a couple now and then as you suggest.Darlene>> My understanding is that you really shouldn't have them all replaced > at one time anyway. Guest guest
No. She's in Hurricane WV. I just googled dentist and amalgam removal and was taken to a site where I picked my state, and it showed me dentists in state qualified to do this. --- confi_8944 wrote: > Would she be near Albany, NY?? Guest guest
I'm sorry. I didn't think I said anything negative about dentists. I just said this was something I wanted to have done and didn't know if I could afford it. --- Handley wrote: > Wow.
