Guest guest
My son was gfcf, and corn- soy - egg- tomato- and many other things- free for a year. We added enzymes and saw great results. I took my son off the diet. That was over two years ago and he is still doing great. The diet helped him in many ways, but the enzymes brought even better results. The " flip side " is that enzymes break down all foods - whereas the diet only takes care of what you eliminate. Also, you should know in a few months (usually less) whether the enzymes will help your child. My son continued to develop food sensitivities as he was on the diet. With enzymes, that is not an issue. We still avoid a few things that enzymes don't seem to completely help with for my son, such as; nitrates, corn syrup and peanuts. He tolerates these three things better now, but not as well as I would like. Overall though, he has a varied, typical diet. > Hi, I'm Debi, mother to , 6yr NT, Allie, 3yr 11mo ASD, and > Dinah, 8 mo. Guest guest
Hi everyone: I have a 12-year old with autism who has significant regressed over the past 6 years. He has lost all verbal communication and seems to be in pain a lot. He has chronic GI issues and ear infections. He has become very self injurious. I am interested in having him see a doctor, but I can't travel to Los Angeles. We are located in land. Are there any good doctors on the East Coast? Thanks for your help. Guest guest
Hello & thanks for the welcome!! Sure, my name is .. and yes you are right, there usually is no support from your immediate environment, doctors, friends, family// and it feels good knowing that this site exists and that people are here to support each other with these difficult health concerns. I have read those articles thoroughly, and the information is great, and sometimes it can be overwhelming because it is so much being thrown at you at once, but I know that once the changes have been made improve, ments will come, slowly but surely. It's just difficult because whatever is going on with my small intestimnes is not normal- I tried the electrolyte drink today and I really enjoyed that with my meals.. Thinking of trying the Vitamic C thing soon to see if that helps. Don't you just wish there was a magical test that could be done & to detect everything that is wrong?? If only.. hehe Again, thanks for the welcome
Guest guest
Hi , I can totally relate to wanting a magic test. For the most part, there are only 4 causes of failing health. They are: 1) Lack of proper nutrition and oxygen. 2) Accumulation of toxins, poisons, and waste. 3) Lowered vitality due to stress, shock, injury, emotional upsets, relationship or financial worries and concerns, etc. 4) Nutritional status inherited from your parents upon conception. So, in order to overcome those, you need to follow Bee's program. Right now, since your digestion is giving you a hard time, I would suggest that you puree all your foods. Bee's 9-day program might be really helpful at this point. http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/dig6.php You can continue to puree your food long after the 9 days if you are still having digestive problems after those 9 days. Pureeing foods makes them much easier to digest. Hope that helps!
