Some info on Lyme Disease

The symptoms of Lyme disease have been misdiagnosed as rheumatoid arthritis and subsequently mistreated. Any generalized, unexplained rash should be seen by a physician, especially in areas where Lyme disease is a problem.

I've had Lyme disease twice and went the antibiotic route. I've been to a doctor about 4 times in the last 15 years and two of those times were for Lyme disease. I don't screw around with that one, as I personally know people who have ended up in wheelchairs and others who are now on disability because it was left untreated. I am sure herbs and cleansing helps, but if you get bit by a tick carrying it, I don't see how you can avoid getting it and making sure you've cured it (if you go the all natural route). They say there are classic symptoms, but I beg to disagree. Neither time did I have a bulls-eye rash. The first time I had it I ran a high fever, broke out in hives, and was really sick. The second time almost no symptoms except for a painless spreading rash over my chest (not bulls-eye) and absolutely terrible shoulder and neck pain. The doctor misdiagnosed it, but I told him that, even though I hadn't found any ticks on me, I still knew what it was and I wanted the Lyme disease meds NOW! lol! He gave them to me and later a blood test confirmed that I was right.
