Guest guest
This is interesting to me too! My ASD son doesn't have strange toenails, but my other non ASD son has toenails that are somewhat concave. My non ASD son has allergies and chronic yeast issues similar to my ASD son. My non ASD son used to be anemic, but I don't think he is anymore. HMMM... Jenn Re: STAN: odd toenails Not Stan, but my son has had concaved nails on his toes that have improved tremendously with biomed. particularly with a strict diet and Diflucan. They are almost completely normal now, just the big toenails curve ever so slightly. He has had 2 anemia panels done in the past 18 months both which came back normal. Maybe the oxalate issue is something for me to look into further. My niece who is also ASD has concave toenails. Guest guest
My son had flat and concave nails and it got better when we started antifungals. His big toenail is still flat but now it at least looks "normal". All the rest are perfect now. I can tell you that it didn't have much to do with iron. His nails got better *before* we started iron supps.CherylNot Stan, but my son has had concaved nails on his toes that have improved tremendously with biomed. particularly with a strict diet and Diflucan.
