Hi from Sue,

Another family who used to post here..

has found great success with Lithium orate and Vit D3 for her son's bipolar symptoms.

He was able to get off his Zoloft as he increased these naturals... and is doing great.!!

Another possibility ..if that doesn't work.. or ---in ADDITION to it....

---May be Empower Plus MULTI nutrients from www.truehope.com ...

They've had many helped by this protocol and studies showing it beneficial for Bipolar

(and other spectrum disorders)...

These helped stablizie my own son 4 years ago...now he doesn't need them.

They even have free phone counseling each week to walk you through

the probiotic doses..along with a few other supplements..

Hope that helps,

Sue

Thanks Everyone! My son seems in good spirits today. He didn't turn on us at all today. Don't know what got into him last week. His mood really does turn on a dime. That, of course, scares me since bipolar disorder runs in mine and my husband's family. Maybe what my son really needs is just a little anti-anxiety medicine to use as needed. I'll be interested in what the doctor has to say. I don't like the idea of medicating my son with SSRI's or Atypical Anti-psychotics, but if either of these would help him, then I am all for it. I just don't want to be one of those parents who gets pushed around once the child outgrows him/her. The Acyclovir suppositories are going well. I heard a lot of language today and we have only been on them for less than a week. I am excited to see if any more gains come the longer we are on the medicine. So far, so good. Perhaps getting the antiviral in him more regularly is helping with some of the behavior issues as well.
