My friend is now 41 weeks pregnant and the doc's want to give her the drugs to induce her. She would prefer to have this done without drugs. They have already tried long walks, blue and black cohosh, squawvine, red raspberry leaf tea and false unicorn head. Can any one here think of anything that they might have missed? I'll be seeing her by 5pm EST today, if anyone can help I would be very grateful. Thanks! Many Blessings Lynn

Guest guest
My Mom said they always took castor oil to bring on labor. I have not tried it and my mom is gone now so can't ask her. Don't forget intercourse, the hormones it stirs up and from the ejaculate have been known to put ladies over the top. It worked for me... once! I was always over due too. Thanks! > > Many Blessings > Lynn ============================== Hi Lynn, Your friend needs to tell her doctors to stick their head in the toilet and flush it about 10 times. I understand 41 weeks is a long time to be pregnant but babies are born when they are ready and not according to some doctor. I am sure she is tired of being pregnant as well and wishes to get it over with. The herbs she has tried are quite good for inducing labor. My guess is she is not ready or, should I say, the baby is not ready to experience the outer world yet. Patience can be a blessing in this instance. Okay my two cents worth. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
Don I did tell my friend that I thought it was too early to be induced. She agreed and told her doctors the same. She did give birth to a beautiful 8 lb. baby boy a few days later all on her own. Wonderful news or what?! Just wanted to let you know and thank you for your advise.
