Guest guest
Sharing with you information I learned just today and yesterday: 2 capsules of Nordic Naturals EFA + 1 pill EPA given 2 x daily. Start at QD and increase weekly. Diarrhea may develop. If so go slower, add bananas. It will resolve. Can chew like gummies, swallow pill if son swallows pill, or pop capsule and mix with something. Liquid not recommended because it is too unstable and quickly oxidizes, even in the refrigerator. As for Vitamin E. Use only naturals, which will start with a "d" and not a "dl". One recommendation I recieved was to use 400 IU of alpha d tocopherol up to 3x daily AND 400 mg. gamma E in two doses. Use a high dose of d-tocopherol and about 600 mg d gamma tocopherol. "J. Stordy PhD in her book "The LCP solution: Nutritional approach to Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and ADHD" states that 3000 iu/day in a 3 year old is safe." That seems high to me for Vit. E. Apparently, if it's going to help, you should see improvements in 1 - 2 weeks. For more information, visit the yahoo board called childrensapraxianet and search for posts made by . It's good stuff!
