Guest guest
Hi Kaly from Sue... I would agree with Kim and Cheryl & the others but also would add... ZINC as a Priority since it helps big time with immunity... and there are studies showing it helps Other neuro problems ,too like ADHD. (we use liguid /Sytemic Formulas from Infinity Health). Another recommendation is --- either juicing with non allergic foods...----- or buying an excellent whole food juice... (we use Monavie) since either will provide many more necessary nutrients that one cannot get in just pills. I also agree with Kim about Glutathione being very important since it is considered and written about as being the MASTER anitoxidant... by numerous doctors and researchers... ---as the amt. of GSH in our bodies is the main predictor of how long we will live according to Earl Mindell, Ph.D. & others. The Glutathione pathway is problematic as per several studies in the autisic persons... and GSH = glutathione has MANY PURPOSES in ONE source.. It's an anitviral ( against Herpes..and other virus), It's a powerful chelator ( ridding heavy metals like mercury, LEAD, etc. It helps regulate testosterone.. often problematic / precocious puberty It recycles major nutrients..so we get the most out of our supplements and foods. It helps IMMUNITY big time.... And while I don't have an official source for this --- I keep muscle testing that it helps fight against yeast/ fungus... I think the power of Glutathione is shown in a special report from a father who's son started using the LW Yage Glutathione patches with his son with ASD at age five... and is now WELL ONE YEAR later using JUST the Glutathione .... without any diet, or other intervention... ( except the addition of the LW Yage Carnosine Booster patches..) (STUDIES show Carnosine is also helpful for ASD and SEIZURES) ...NOR does he belong to any support groups. I'm not saying this will work for everyone.. but it does show the Multipurpose nature of Glutathione....and Carnosine. If you want that report =timeline diary sent ..let me know. Hope that helps, Sue RE: Mom of 29 month old unofficially diagnosed with ASD Re: Mom of 29 month old unofficially diagnosed with asd Posted by: "Kim" delicateflower_kk@... delicateflower_kk Tue Feb 26, 2008 7:28 am (PST) > i would guess> a multivitaminYes> an omega 3 supplementYes> cal - mag ??I'd probably do the probiotics/antifungals first> probiotics and anti-fungal ??Be sure to give yourself enough time betweenadding supplments to observe any gains orproblems. If you change too much at once, and aproblem creeps up, it's hard to know what topull. Other things to consider adding are: B-6, MB12,anti-oxidents (including glutathione), epsomsalts baths. I'm sure others on here will havemore suggestions.Kim > > please direct me to the next step, i am stuck> here after the diet began.> thanks,> kaly> >
