Guest guest
I feel compelled to comment further on the " blue man " situation since some posters on various forums have been criticized for speculating on what may have caused the man's condition (argyria). I have refrained from using his name because I actually feel sorry for him and feel he has been exploited, to a degree. Nenah Sylver recently reported that she briefly spoke to him and he allegedly admitted to adding some amount of baking soda to his CS. How much, we do not know. Like Nenah, I was not aware that adding baking soda alone could cause Argyria but I will have to do a lot more research. I still feel that there are a lot more facts relating to this man and his argyria that are yet to be disclosed. People who have speculated on what exactly may have caused his condition have every right to do so, mainly because `blue man " has failed to get the details out about exactly how he made his colloidal silver. As all of us in these various alternative health forums realize, there are " powerful forces " that use every opportunity to stifle information about any alternative health device/procedure/product which will permit an individual's healthcare to be in their own hands. As far as Colloidal Silver (CS) is concerned, we do not need a rare case of argyria to frighten away millions of people who already use it successfully, and prevent others who might have otherwise explored it use. Whenever a case of argyria is discovered, it must be investigated properly and thoroughly so that the causes can be " correctly " ascertained. We demand this of the FDA regarding prescription drugs, so must we do so with argyria cases. I have used a lot of CS in the last 10 years and I show no signs of argyria. Why is that? Yes, the media has exploited him, but he permitted the exploitation. He could have refused any and all interviews. Whether out of naiveté or a desire for " 15 minutes of fame " , he bears personal responsibility for placing himself front and center before the cameras. Now, it is up to him whether he will accept the help offered by Nenah Sylver and from those of us in these forums who will gladly offer any assistance possible. Speaking of personal responsibility, I was under the impression that argyria from improperly made colloidal silver was a slow process any way. One does not just wake up in the morning with blue skin. I could be wrong but I do not think so. If that is the case, does " blue man " bear some personal responsibility for the drastic side effects of his self-treatment? To continue taking something which is producing such a drastic side effect is either totally irresponsible or the other positive effects greatly outweigh the negative effects. Of course, I truly feel bad for this gentleman and I hope and pray that his original conditions are alleviated and his argyria can be " cured " , but I do not fault others who, out of fear or intellectual pursuit, speculate and question how his condition occurred. Only he can stop all of this.
