On top of our daughter going through die off my husband feed her something with

both wheat and dairy in it. I was so upset especially after the day that I have

had with her already and now this. All that I could do was sit and cry. I sent

her outside to the trampoline to exercise is there anything else that I can do

to get this stuff out of her system? Sheri

Hi Sheri,

Have her drink as much water as you can get into her, to flush the bad

stuff out of her system. And the exercise is good.

Over time, the occasional diet infractions won't affect her as much as

they do now. But all of us have been through this; you'll get through it!

I know that I will but I am not sure about my husband if he messes up again.

I agree with Donna that the water is good, but there IS such a thing as too

much water (a condition known as water intoxication or hyponatremia... it's

generally only seen in infants or athletes who are dehypdrated). Just don't

get TOO carried away... don't have her drink too much at one time... and

slow down at night or she may have to get up all night long and then the

next day she'll be worse because she'll be overtired!

Hi Sheri -

Did she actually react to the food? Sometimes if

they've been off a while the reaction isn't as bad.

It isn't going to do any long-term harm, but since you

guys are already having a bad time I sympathize!

Dr Goldberg recommended Tylenol sometimes to help get

thru food reactions AND die-off reactions. May be

helpful?

HTH, hang in there!

We are giving her Tylenol for the die off. She had a terrible evening but who

knows what it was caused from. It was getting dark and we came in from outside

she flipped out, normally she cries and once we are in it is over. I told her

that I had had enough today and if she could not stop crying she could go to

bed. At 7:45 when she was still crying she went to bed where she settled down

quickly and went to sleep. Heaven only knows what time my day will begin

tomorrow but I am guessing about 5:00am. Oh joy!!! LOL Sheri

Sheri,

I sooooooo feel for you!!

Last weekend we were on 'vacation' since my husband was in an out of town

wedding, and we couldn't leave our twins at home, and they were sick AND my

son was well into die-off from a Dr. G med change, plus it was challenging

to stick with the diet while on the road - our son reminded us of an alien

more than our lovable child - it was *almost* like being in *he@#*. We were

all soooooooo glad to be home after that (and my husband and I were really,

really ready for a vacation!).

Hang in there!!! My son is sooo much better now than before the med change,

but it's so difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel until you're

actually there.

Hugs,

Kristy

PS: Dr. G doesn't agree, but I keep Houston Nutraceutical enzymes on hand

for infractions, esp. when we're traveling, for special events (birthdays or

get togethers with family/friends) or during the holidays.
