Medicaid paying for rx

I have a question for those of you who have Medicaid pay for your child's

prescriptions. Do they have to be ordered by a Medicaid-accepting doctor?

Does Dr. G accept Medicaid?

There's been a lot of discussion on another list I'm on about

non-Medicaid-accepting doctors hearing that a patient has Medicaid and then

refusing to treat

the patient anymore. I'd like to see if I can get some of the meds paid

for by Medicaid but since the doc that prescribes my son's meds doesn't

accept Medicaid, I don't want to risk having him refuse to treat my son. Any

experience in using private insurance to pay a doc to monitor the child and

prescribe but then having Medicaid pay for the rx?
