Guest guest
Hi Diane, We are all having trouble with messages from this group. How are you doing? It rained hard here after 3 AM but the sun is out now although very windy. Did some yard cleaning yesterday and cut & piled some wood for next year. Have a nice day. Guest guest
Hi Diane It seems that has gotten kind of out of whack lately. I suppose that they will get things straightened out eventually. Guest guest
Diane--- I think all is well with the list now(groups) of cours I wasn't online @ all on Sunday..... but just downloaded my mail tonite & there were messages from early Sunday on thru Tonite(Mon) Hope your back is doing better!! I finally got 3 hours sleep after being up for 42 hours straight... then had to do some business for a friend's daughter's PC(loading software program)- then came home & did the firewood thing<g>! At about 8PM (give or take) I fel asleep on my hospital bed(it's up in our living room-cooler there than downstairs in bedroom!) woke up a few hours later & went to bed & didn't wake up til about 11AM today.....then took care of some business & a couple of hours later & I was back in bed(aching all over) then didn't get up til about 5PM.....It's a good thing Ken is so understanding!! Take care, arlene diane214@... wrote: Hi Everyone....... I have not gotten a group message in 2 days...... Is anyone else having problems?????? Guest guest
Dennis I emptied out our woodshed on Sunday-----we've had 1 1/2 " rain today & it was very windy here all day!! When Ken gets some time off we have to go cut up some firewood for next year..fortunately a friend did some logging on her property & when we go over to cut up wood she gets 50% & we get the other 50%!! Pretty good deal!! Well it's most definitely monsoon time here in Oregon.....It's supposed to be raining for the next 10 days straight That's all the farther they've forecasted!! Sure hope we don't have a repeat of '96....major flooding... the Columbia R. flowed over & all the businesses anywhere near the river were flooded including the town where we live.. fortunately we are up high enough not to any damage!! we're about 1000 feet higher than the town arlene Dennis wrote: > Hi Diane, > > We are all having trouble with messages from this group. > How are you doing? > It rained hard here after 3 AM but the sun is out now although very windy. > Did some yard cleaning yesterday and cut & piled some wood for next year. > Have a nice day. > > Dennis > > Re: [ ] Digest Number 335 > > > Hi Everyone....... Guest guest
We've been having unusual weather the past few days. Friday we had snow, sleet, hail and a thunderstorm. I went out for breakfast with a couple of friends Saturday morning and it was beautiful, must've been about 40. By the time I left the temp was already dropping. It was ice cold yesterday and is warming up to about normal today, it's 21 right now. I'm ready for spring!! I love Wisconsin winters, but I'm ready for spring a little sooner than Wisconsin is! -dz- --- Dennis <dhuber@...> wrote: > Hi Diane, > > We are all having trouble with messages from this > group. > How are you doing? > It rained hard here after 3 AM but the sun is out > now although very windy. > Did some yard cleaning yesterday and cut & piled > some wood for next year. > Have a nice day. > > Dennis > > > Re: [ ] Digest Number 335 > > > > Hi Everyone....... Guest guest
Yeah, I remember that. In the French Quarter it never stops... Which wasn't a good thing for me when I lived there. I took full advantage of it. The bars were open 24/7. Even the neighborhood restaurants served drinks. -dz- --- Jannewilms42@... wrote: > dz you know here in Louisiana is a reason in itself > to party..We don't need > an occassion....LOL.. > __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I wish it'd rain nightly here in Oregon--instead of constantly -day & night!! You get 3 months of rainy weather --we get approx. 9 months of it!! Guest guest
It's my understanding that the outcome of Transcendental Meditation is a really big alpha. Also, I've read that when you train low frequencies (alpha and below) that the response tends to generalize to the whole brain. In that case, it looks as if just training alpha would do it. That's recommended at a lot of points, such as CZ, PZ, C3and T3. Try any or all, can't hoit. Guest guest
Gene, The idea, as I mentioned in my earlier post about training sounds, is that they should come and go in half a second or less. These are discrete feedback sounds meant to indicate a momentary meeting of all training criteria. Pete Re: Digest Number 335 Thanks. I guess it's supposed to just appear momentarily, make a quick poot, and disappear. Gene RE: Digest Number 335 Gene, here's your own private copy. Guest guest
Fletch - I'm thinking more and more we all need to get together for some kind of spinal family reunion for the members of this board. I'm dealing with a possibility of a 3rd surgery myself. But first, I'm going to find out why I hurt from my second surgery. My best to you. I'm going to have to research Raynalds to understand, but I hope that you get a new Neuro that understands your situation. I've been lucky in that regard. My doctors have not had a problem sending me for a second opinion. I respect them, though I don't agree with this last one. No more hardware!!! joe > Hi Joe-I would be glad to tell you all of my surgeries. In the late 80's I had 3 carpal tunnel surgeries one on the left and two on the right. At that time I was also diagnosed with Raynalds .. . . > FletchieK
Guest guest
<<I'm tentatively scheduled to go to Scripps for desens. in September. Prior to that trip, I plan to schedule a visit to a doctor in Dallas (referred by my current ENT) to discuss severe polyps in my frontal sinuses. A recent CT scan by my ENT here in Midland showed no air space at all in my frontal sinuses and she suggested that I consider surgery above the eyes to clean them out. Jim>> Jim, I just had surgery on my frontal sinuses. One had a mucus seal and they thought they would have to go in through my forehead, but my doctor was able to get it all cleaned out intranasally at UCSF (San Francisco). See if you can find a doc will try to avoid drilling into your skull if you need these sinuses cleared out! Good luck, Kim
Guest guest
Thanks, Kim I am hoping the Dr. I'm going to talk to can do it thru the nose. That sounds much better than the other way (if I decide to do it). How are you feeling? Do you think it helped? How in the world do they get up through those small passages? Guest guest
Dear Don, Let me know if I've got this straight. Are you suggesting that a " total body cleanse " involves fasting on juices for 4-5 weeks? I have done a water fast for five days before and it really aggravated my rheumatoid arthritis to a point where I could barely walk. I don't mind doing a juice fast, but fear more of the same symptoms would be too incapacitating. The ingredients mentioned for a bowel cleanse sound much like Dr. Schultz's formula, which I took before, but didn't find any parasites coming out. Would a parasite cleanse be used in conjunction with this? If so, should it continue for all but the first week of the cleanse? Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Hi , Usually one cleanses their bowels for about a week. If one were to do a total body cleanse that will last 4 - 5 weeks then one would also cleanse the bowels for about the same period to ensure removal of all toxins. Pacscalite is better known as bentonite clay and is a very useful adjunct in cleansing toxins from the bowels as it has the ability to absorb enormous amounts of toxic chemicals, metals, etc. In essence one would take an herbal preparation that ensures bowel movements and also take the pascalite in a mixture of psyllium seeds, flax seeds, activated charcoal, apple fruit pectin, and maybe even fennel, slippery elm and marshmallow root. It is best while doing this that one either fasts on water of does a juice fast along with drinking lots of water but eating nothing solid. Does this help? -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai

You can if you wish. However, it does specify eating only raw vegetables and fruits and no meat, dairy etc. Yes, I can imagine that doing just a water fast would aggravate your rheumatism. If you were to do a fast do a juice cleansing fast using either celery/cucumber or either carrot or apple juices. All frsehly juiced to. This will give your body what it needs to easily remove the toxins while also giving your cells the minerals they need to rebuild and heal themselves. I wouldn't suggest a water fast to anyone who has not done some serious cleansings already. Too hard on the body. In your case I would suggest you do several to many 3 day juice fast/cleanses or maybe even 6 day if you feel you can do it. When you see significant improvement then I would suggest doing other cleanses like the bowel, liver/gallbladder and kidney/bladder cleanses before doing a total body cleanse. Now this is just my suggestion. You are free to do however you wish. You shouldn't suffer extremely on any fast or cleanse. If you are then it is not right for you to be doing at the time. You will need something a little more easy on the body and 3 day juice cleanses are very easy on the body. I hope this helps you . Peace be with you. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
