Guest guest
Do any of you know anything about the benefits of cocnut oil? I use it every day. Not much, not therapeutic doses (which would be 4 tablespoonfuls) but just enough to stop me being hungry all morning when I have a coconut treat for breakfast (VCNO, nuts, dried fruit, seeds, spices, cocoa, mixed, marked into squares and chilled). Does it really make you lose weight? I don't know, but I accept the theories. If it satisfies me so I don't need to eat until noon, that probably has some effect. Is it really an antifungal and antiviral? I accept what the people say who can measure it. How effective is it at all? One strange thing for me is that it has completely changed my odour. The only time I reverted to the old smell was when I stopped using coconut milk (which I have done now for about three years or more) and used dairy milk again. I soon changed back. The new smell reminds me of Singapore; I don't know whether that has something to do with inherent coconuttiness. It has good effects on my digestive system. I was told many years ago that I was developing cataracts. Now I am told I don't have that problem.
