Guest guest Posted September 26, 2004 Report Share Posted September 26, 2004 my first fast was six weeks...I drank only water, and only ate a few little saltine crackers when I was weak..I was 35 at the time...and did not work outside the home..took some baking soda at the beginning and end of fast,so I would not have kidney stones.... I was surprised to find I lost 25 pounds; which I didnt mind, but at that time, did not really need to...anyway,I felt better starting the second week...I also slept better, and felt close to God. luv; Rica Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
