Guest guest
Hi Di and Maureen (and Shanon), I have been reading Stan's Anti-Viral Strategy paper almost daily but have some questions. He had said that SCD minus IGG food sensitivites is best and lists a recipe for pecan muffins. I could pull bananas and most of the applesauce, etc. but it would be a huge help if I could put a muffin in his lunchbox, I think. We have been strict SCD since 12/9/07. Are these indeed okay? Also when IGG sensitivities are discussed, is it ALL sensitivities including the 1's? I have a feeling it is, but I thought I'd ask. Our big regression didn't start until around our 4-5th week, so even though we're now on day 52 of valtrex, we are about 2 weeks into a real regression. He has no rash today, which is nice. Has anyone else started theirs so late? I know that Stan mentioned some people seeing regressions at day 50 with no gains in sight - what it doesn't say is whether they should keep on going... We saw some gains so we are in a different boat but I am curious. We had seen some great things prior to it so we think it is helpful to him and from Stan's posts, it seems like if we quit now, we will lose the gains we've seen. I will try upping the probiotics. The paper should perhaps be amended to note the higher doses? When white and green vegetables are mentioned, what do you suggest beyond zucchini, green beans and spinach? Most other veggies are very advanced SCD foods. He misses eating broccoli though. Despite the regressive issues of attending at speech and for 1:1, he has been doing well every morning at school so I need something for snack and lunch. Ugh. Sorry about all of the questions... Thanks for your help,
