Guest guest
True, I forgot about the apples! Re: lactose in goat cheese/fruit Apples are okay as far as I know. Apples and bananas are the only fruits my kid will eat! I think I read somewhere that watermelon could be a problem, but I don't remember where. Guest guest
I am curious to know whether any of you have seen bad reactions in your children when they have eaten green apples. Over the years I have heard that green apples are more allergenic than regular red apples such as Red Delicious but I have stopped buying them since it seemed to me that when I did get them I was seeing too much interest in them on my son's part, and some strange behaviors. mary
Guest guest
The thing I have heard about apples is that they are high in phenols, which can cause some strange behaviors in some kids. The phenols are located closest to the peel, so if you peel them it's supposed to help. You can also try enzymes, like No-Fenol by Houston Neutraceuticals as a test, but check with your doctor to see if the enzymes are OK.
