Guest guest
Rik, By any chance, do you have a mitrial valve prolaspe? That triggers lots of adrenaline rushes during the day. I discovered I had one a couple years ago. I have had symptoms all my life and everyone kept telling me it was in my head, or that I was 'nervous' person, which I am not. I ended up having one heck of a panic attack one morning and ended up in the same ER that I take my dd to frequently. Since they have seen me under pressure, they knew I was not the nervous type and thought I was having a full fledged heart attack! I had a heart cath and an echo and that is when they found the valve. It makes no noise, so it's gone undetected all these years but the medical staff, but not by ME. :-) Here is a GREAT site for MVP, you could safely try some of these things even if you don't have it: http://www.consciouschoice.com/holisticmd/hmd093.html I had a counselor explain to me that when the valve prolapses, it cause a sudden drop in your blood pressure. There is suddenly more room in the heart due to the valve and so the blood is not filling up the heart and vessels. In order to fix this, your body sends out a burst of adrenalin to constrict your heart muscle and blood vessels making them tighter and closing up that 'gap' in volume. It's that adrenalin rush that is so bothersome it seems. I have not had another one, and have been able to stop the irregular heart beats by taking those supplements mentioned and trying to keep my blood sugar on an even keel all day. Also find ways to purge that adrenalin... good physical work out of some kind has really helped me. Course not having huge adrenalin rushes with has been a big help as well! I shudder to think how much was coursing trough my veins. I knew something was amiss when I didn't get ANY rushes from the rides at our local amusement park! Have any of you tried EFT? That really helps, esp with those electrical circuit type problems!!! It played a big role in getting all this under control again. Psalm 127 hi all, been doing quite well lately. just got done doing a intestinal cleanse like don adviced me to do. he also talked about a kidney cleanse, liver and or gall. not sure in what order i should proceed doing the next one. any information/advice would be great. an other question is where you guys get your "cleanse fix" or other herbal products. i get them from "doc" ian, but wonder if i can get similar type that i can buy in a healthstore in the hood. still trying to get the adrenaline down to normal. i think i might just keep going with my heathy lifestile and see if i improve. i noticed that it is *not* just from confronting people or situations like i have explained before, it is also with sharp sounds, sharp lights, or tv even seeing someone on a ledge on a mountian where my adrenaline shoot up ........... the fight or flight signal. not sure if my adrenal glands are shot or confused or that my brain gives the messages too soon too fast........... like a hair trigger. when i was taking inderal (betta blocker) and lorazepam (ativan), it slowed these feelings right down. looking for a healthy way to get it fixed up or maybe even tuned better, any improvement would be very welcome. thanks, rikps: my dad has addisson desease, since that is a gland desease ( i think)........ wonder if i'm having some sort of these problems he is having............ --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
hi carol, i am not aware of a valve problem. when i was little, i had a murmor thing going on till i was 10 i believe, then it was gone. i also found out that my heard is a tad off loction from the " regular " dutch people the doctor expained to me in 1992 for a sport physical. then they did a scan they got a strange reading telling them i had had a heart attack.......... (?) that shocked the heck outta me! later they did a total scan with video pitures of my heart beating........wow, i saw my own heart beat and they showed me how the valves moced up and down, blue blodd and red blood flowing around. i never heard them mentioning anything about a " mitrial valve prolaspe " or the equivelent word in dutch. they said i was heathy. watching my heart was an emotional thing......got all chocked up. i will go read that article and see if something similar comes up....... ya never know. your story makes sense to me though, thank a million (O; for replying carol! rik (milwaukee) > Rik, > By any chance, do you have a mitrial valve prolaspe? However, I would suggest you get checked for MVP as suggested. Having had a heart murmur (which is a valve problem) might be the answer to your situation. As for the 's disease, if you are eating a proper diet, exercising properly and doing the cleansings you shouldn't have too much to worry about. The kidney/bladder cleanse will help clear out any junk and feed the kidneys and adrenals at the same time. There are lots of herbs out there that are specific for the adrenals in helping them to recover and improve. Hang in there Rik, you will get better. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Also scullcap, St. 's Wort and oats as nervines. Licorice root, by the way, has shown to be fairly effective in treating 's disease according to case reports from the UK. Something to look into for your father. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
