Guest guest
Anyone have any experience with this? I just got my son's labs back and his sIgA was 690 with a reference of 40-204 mg/dL. Do any of you run this immunology test? - --------------------------------- Messenger with Voice. PC-to-Phone calls for ridiculously low rates. Guest guest
Was this from a stool analysis or a blood draw? Does 's' mean serum? The quantity mg/dL is an expression of weight within a liquid so not sure how you get this from a stool test. Dr G runs quantitative immunoglobulin tests as part of the intial work-up (this list is available on the websites) it includes IgA, IgE, IgM and IgG. These are repeated during treatment usually once a year. If any of these are elevated it usually is indicative of immune system expression... and examination of the other tests - CBC, immune panel/NK cell counts are needed to better understand what is happening. Did you get any other results? Doris I think recently posted a link to a site that explains blood results... I'll hunt it down, --- In , Rob or Sunseri <RobRose@...> wrote: > > Anyone have any experience with this? I just got my son's labs back and his sIgA was 690 with a reference of 40-204 mg/dL.
