Guest guest
, Interesting about the thinned blood and improvement. Do you think the thinned blood ultimately increased oxygen to the brain, and that was what was making the improvements? Kristy in UK? I have joined this group and have been reading the posts with interest. I live in England, and wondered if there is anyone in the UK/Europe in the group? Also, if we decide to persue the line, please could someone recommend the nearest centre for us. I assume there is nothing in the UK, so would guess somewhere on the East Coast of the US? Just one small comment on 's re both her own and her son's passion for dark vegetables like brocoli. I experienced some sort of neurological/ophthalmic attack at the age of 40. At its worst the symptoms replicated my ASD son's autism - sensory difficulties, problems with vision, word retrieval issues, motor planning problems, motor control etc. The problems were never diagnosed, but, from a trial and error basis over the suceeding months and years I found that all the things that helped (exercise, changing diet, use of baby aspirin later replaced by herbal remedies) had one thing in common - they all thinned the blood. The last thing I cut out of my diet was dark green vegetables, having found out that they can cause problems for people on blood thinning medication like warfarin. Guest guest
, I don't see that anyone answered your question about in the East Coast, but there is a clinic in New York (something I just learned from this board). I will try to send you the link that was sent to me. Dr. Goldberg is on the West Coast, so I don't know if you prefer the East or just did not know that. When you bring up the dark greens again, it reminds me that I was once on the low oxalate diet, and should probably re-examine that! I know low oxalate is recommended for some ASD kids too. - clairelefeuvre@... wrote: I have joined this group and have been reading the posts with interest.
