I am excited to announce that the Special Education Advocacy Training

Project is now accepting applications for their second class, scheduled to

begin in October 2006. Applications can be found at www.copaa.org/seat The

deadline for submitting an application is August 15, 2006. Training sites

for the second class will include the Los Angeles, N.Y and Philadelphia.

Trainees will be required to complete approximately 115 hours of coursework

as well as a six-month internship with an experienced special education

attorney or advocate.
