Guest guest
I'm looking for some advice for a friend who was just told that her son, who was believed to suffer from brain damage from birth complications but presented with some ASD symptoms and lots of ASD medical issues, does not actually have brain damage from hypoxia but has viral damage in the brain. She writes, " We just found out he does not have brain damage and hearing loss from hypoxia but from a virus. A very famous radiologist read his MRI and said the damage wasn't from lack of oxygen but just from a virus. " She sees a DAN and has been doing DAN treatments for yeast, deficiencies, etc., but is wondering what the latest DAN thinking is on viruses in the brain (was there any mention of this at the last DAN conference?) and what testing and treatments might be appropriate and what should be avoided (HBOT? LDN?). She's thinking about another trial of Valtrex, but is looking for more information, too. Does anyone have any info or experience with this? e
