Guest guest
Many of us found because we HAVE been to many of those Doctors who 'claim' to help our kids. Funny how they get very defensive when you start asking questions, esp about blood test results. One local DAN/CAN Dr told us " oh yes, I see alot of those type of results with the autistic kids. But no one knows what they mean " . And yes, he and Dr Goldberg know each other and have spoken. But I guess help can be interpreted in many ways. I prefer help with long term results that isn't dangerous and is measurable via medical standards. Dr Goldberg may not have personal written documentation and peer reviews backing his work up but I think the proof is in our children. Using a microwave to cook food can produce good results but sometimes those results may be a bit dry or tasteless. Slowcooking seals in the flavor and allows for the richness of the ingredients to mix. I like to think of my son as a slowcooker ...... doris land Message 3 From: " SandyD " sandy@... Perhaps it wasn't intended as such, but a statement like this could be viewed as terribly insulting to the hardworking parents on this list. Since you've joined just recently, I suggest that you review the archives. I promise you, our parents do " see what's going on in the world. " For many, that is precisely the reason we are here. Guest guest
Well, maybe not much personal written documentation as far as 'autism', but there is tons and tons of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome research and peer reviews backing up his work, and he is stating that that is what this is, not autism. There is that paper w/Dr Mena that was published - I think in a CFS journal? It's in the group files... --- Doris and Steve <sjsmith@...> > Dr Goldberg may not have personal written > documentation > and peer reviews backing his work up but I think > the proof is in our children. > __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Then what exactly is the science that is based on? A few of you on this group repeatedly refer to Dr. Goldberg's research. Please explain where I can see his research and the science that backs . Thanks, Doris and Steve <sjsmith@...> wrote: Dr Goldberg may not have personal written documentation and peer reviews backing his work up but I think the proof is in our children. --------------------------------- New Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
I believe that the files area contains some of the studies which support the hypothesis, which should also be somewhere in the files area. (If it isn't let me know and I'll locate it and upload it). Obviously we don't have any long-term -only studies yet, that is what Dr. Goldberg is working on doing. In about 20 years, there will be plenty of peer-reviewed studies on the topic, but I don't plan on waiting that long before pursuing treatment for my son.
