Wow, i have been feeling really tired and hurting for weeks. called

rheumy yesterday asked to raise my pred.( been at 3 mg for 3 months ).

She said to raise to 10 mg for week and taper week 7.5 and then week at

5mg.

I feel so much better already

I know that darn prednisone. I have been as low as 3mg too. I wasn't worth

anything though. I am right now at 7.5 trying to slowly go down. I have been

tryin for the past 4 years to get past 10mg and be functional. I have been at

7.5 for 3 weeks and feelin ok. My next step is 7mg. I go up and down as I

feel. My Rheumy and I have been working on this and since I've been on Remicade

I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will have success in coming OFF the

prednisone.

Good luck to you I hope that you will be able to come down slowly. Don't get

discouraged it will happen. I always say Prednisone is my best friend and my

worst enemy. I hate to love it, and love to hate it. Keep your chin up.

You'll feel better in a couple of days.
