Guest guest
, my husband had a rash which was not the classic " stills rash " . He saw a dermatologist in Boston who did skin biopsies of the rash to r/o other autoimmune diseases. She stated that with many autoimmune diseases it is common to develop rash that worsens w/ sun and even rashes that develop in areas where you have previous sun exposure. His biopsies came back inconclusive. However he initially presented w/ a rash that sounded very similiar to yours that no one can seem to figure out including 3 dermatolgists and 2 rheumatologists.. I guess its another " stills mystery " , but ask your own docs and keep us posted on what they say... ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
My rheumy told me that all the autoimmune rashes (Stlls, Lupus etc) get worse and aggrevated by sunlight. Her advice was " sun screen, sun screen, sun screen " . tom from PA > > I am also experiencing a similar rash, but it is very slight. It gets worse with exposure to sunlight as well, which makes it itch a bit. I have been on Remicade since January, and shortly after that is when I began having this small rash. Sometimes it is worse on my back, now it is worse on my legs. Most of the doctors who have seen it don't think it is related to the Remicade, but I'm not so sure. I will add that the Remicade IVs seem to be working very well, and all my blood work looks great! My sed rate has dropped to its lowest ever, and my Rhemy thinks I am on the road to remission! My case has been fairly mild compared to some, but as we all know, the days you are sick are pretty bad no matter what the case! > So I would be interested, too, in seeing if anyone else has this rash, especially if they are on Remicade. > Thanks...Kathy, near Boston > Rashes? > > > I have a rash that seems to worsen with exposure to sunlight - that > has an appearance different than the typical stills rash. Guest guest
Does anyone know what Stan's son ETHAN rash looked like, as per the recovry video-Stan notes in the video after starting VALTREX Ethan broke out in a rash- but it is not shown or described. I really need some guidance....Todays rash for my son looks like very pale-ly pink chicken skin but it is itching him. Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage.
